Sport and recreation

A wide range of sport and recreation activities are organised through the FXU. These activities are open to all UCF students. We can also put you in contact with clubs and community groups in the local area.

We aim to make even the more expensive activities as affordable as possible so many activities are subsidised by the FXU. FXU clubs are non-profit making and any money generated by a club will be used for the benefit of its members.

Getting involved in activities outside your studies can help you get the most out of your university experience. It's a great way to meet people, try out new activities, and gain useful experience that could enhance your employability. Many students also find it a great way to combat the stresses of studying.

The FXU clubs and societies change according to the skills and enthusiasm of new students. If your favourite sport or pastime is not represented, and you can get together a group of like-minded students (we suggest a minimum of 10-15), then we may be able to help you start a new club.
